Surrounded by tall eucalyptus trees and the impressive Andes, the Sol y Luna boutique hotel is a gem in the Urubamba Sacred Valley. It is conveniently located very close to the Ollanta train station, from which guests can board the train to Machu Picchu. The hotel has 28 bungalows: 23 doubles, 3 family and 2 suites. It has a ranch,   (Quechua for wind), which is home to a fine collection of Peruvian Paso Horses. Demonstrations and horse-back riding are available, and the ranch can host cultural and culinary activities such as textile weaving demonstrations, live music, pachamanca (Andean BBQ) and theater presentations.
