The Libertador hotel is conveniently located very close to Cusco´s main square and in front of the “Korikancha”, the Inca temple dedicated to the Sun. The hotel itself used to be a palace for the Inca nobility, and was converted into a Colonial residence after the Spanish conquest. The Libertador has 254 rooms, all carefully decorated and equipped. Each room features direct-access telephones, mini-bar, smoke detectors, Internet access, cable TV and 24-hour room service. The hotel also offers guests a business center and a sauna and Jacuzzi. The “Inti Raymi” restaurant has capacity for 140 guests, while the “Qero Café” and the “Rumi” bar seat 115 and 60 passengers respectively. The hotel has five conference rooms that can host groups ranging from 400 to 12 attendees.
