As Cuzco was one of the Viceroyalty regions with larger indigenous populations, Spanish colonial authorities decided to create
"Indian churches", so as to reorganize the native groups under a new scheme that could enable their evangelization, "civilization" and a more efficient collection of tributes.
San Cristobal, one of these “Indian churches”, is secluded in the upper part of the city. Its plaza, because of the amazing view it provides of the city, proves an astounding site to hold a private dinner. Passengers will be treated to a gourmet, novo-Andean dinner, accompanied by a fine selection of wines and pisco, while enjoying a breathtaking view of Cuzco by night.
